Recording a windy day in Omaha, Nebraska on November 7th, 2020 sparked a creative hypomanic episode for me on January 31st, 2021.

I heard a similar short album on Spotify with rain used as a backdrop- which I also had a recording of, but decided to use the calm recording of wind I had recorded outside my bedroom window more than a year before.

Musically and with its naming convention, a lot of this is inspired by minimalist Japanese composers, such as Satoshi Ashikawa and Hiroshi Yoshimura. And in particular the trilogical project "Wave Notation" started by Ashikawa.

I've been sitting on this since for some reason, but I'm trying to finish things I start more. So here it is, I hope you enjoy and can have a relaxing 10 minutes, it's meant to be listened to as a gapless album.
